S A N J 0 A Q I I I Irl Environmental Health Department <br /> CCUNTY <br /> Underground Storage Tank Program Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> HUNT&SONS INC-ARCH ROAD CARDLOCK 4733 S HWY 99 , STOCKTON June 23, 2022 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 208 CCR 2716(a-e) Failure to comply with the designated operator inspection requirements. <br /> OBSERVATION: The designated operator failed to check and note the correct test dates for the overfill prevention <br /> inspection and secondary containment testing on the designated operator inspection reports.The correct date for <br /> overfill prevention is 5/23/2019 and 12/29/2021 for secondary containment. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: During the inspection, the designated operator shall check that all required testing and <br /> maintenance for the UST system have been completed and document the dates they were done. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Ensure that designated operators performing inspections at this facility are including all of <br /> the required information on the reports. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 308 CCR 2632(c), 2634(d), 2636(f) Failure of the leak detection equipment to have an audible and visual alarm. <br /> OBSERVATION: The L4 87/91 Gasoline annular&L5 Diesel annular sensors failed to activate an audible and <br /> visual alarm when tested to ensure continuous monitoring of the tank system. L5 Diesel annular went into sensor <br /> out and did not come back. Most of the other sensors went into sensor out as well but were corrected by IT. <br /> Technician stated that this occurred because of the diesel annular. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to activate an audible and visual alarm or <br /> stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The sensors were repaired/replaced and retested during the inspection. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 319 CCR 2635, 2637.2,2665, 2712 Failure to comply with overfill prevention equipment requirements. <br /> OBSERVATION: Overfill prevention testing was conducted on 5/23/2019. Overfill prevention testing was due by <br /> October, 2021. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Overfill prevention equipment inspections were required to be conducted by October <br /> 13, 2018, and every 36 months thereafter, and within 30 days of completion of a repair. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately schedule this testing and provide 48 hours notification to the EHD.
