Structured Plumbing° <br />Remote Manifolds with On -demand or Timed Recirculation <br />Cold -water <br />Service Supl <br />Installation Considerations <br />• Manifolds are located near fixture groups. <br />The short drop length (from supply line to fixtures) minimizes the amount <br />of water that needs to be purged for hot water to flow from a fixture. <br />An extension of the hot-water supply line becomes a return line to allow <br />recirculation of hot water. <br />On -demand recirculation provides significant water and <br />energy savings. <br />This method takes advantage of the benefits derived from the flexibility <br />of PEX tubing. <br />• This installation method features a significant reduction in the number of <br />individual connections (compared to run -and -branch). <br />Section 2 — Installation Options and Applications uponor <br />
