Home -run (Parallel Piping) Installation <br />Installation Considerations <br />• Centralized manifolds) distribute water to points -of -use. <br />Manifolds may be valved or valveless and located near a hot-water source <br />and cold -water incoming supply. <br />If valved manifolds are used, water supply to fixtures may be <br />controlled at the manifold (check local codes). <br />This installation method features dedicated supply lines from manifold <br />to each individual fixture. <br />This method minimizes the number of connection points (fittings) <br />in overall system. <br />This method may generally require more tubing (total length) than in <br />other configurations. <br />High tubing density at some points requires space planning. <br />This method can result in reduced waiting time for hot water at <br />fixtures if dedicated supply lines are shortened.
