Pacific Coast Recreation - 3 - 12 November 2020
Aka Cohn Property
3755 Mumford Avenue
Stockton, San Joaquin County
laboratory analysis. However, the previous descriptions of soil sampling both
state sampling will start at 50 ft bgs, not 40 ft bgs.
Please note, in a letter dated 10 December 2019, Central Valley Water Board staff
concurred with the scope of work presented in Downgradient Well Installation Work
Plan Addendum (2019 Work Plan) submitted to Geotracker on 15 October 2019. The
scope of work in 2019 Work Plan combined with the approved scope of work presented
in the Downgradient Well Installation Work Plan Addendum, Shallow Soil Sampling
Work Plan, and Updated Soil Analytical Data Set (2017 Work Plan) dated 11 May 2017,
were designed to complete lateral and vertical delineation of groundwater at the Site.
The proposed additional wells would be screened from 60 to 80 ft bgs, 85 and 95 ft bgs,
or 135 to 145 ft bgs, and shallow grab groundwater samples were proposed.
The scope of work presented in the Addendum does not appear to be adequate to
complete lateral and vertical delineation of groundwater. The data gaps that the 2017
Work Plan and 2019 Work Plan identified remain and need to be addressed, and should
be included in the work plan due 31 January 2021.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me via phone at (916) 464-4792
or via email at vera.fischer@waterboards.ca.gov
Vera Fischer, P.G.
Engineering Geologist
Christopher Flower, P.G. 8585
Senior Engineering Geologist
cc: Technical Staff, State Water Resources Control Board, Sacramento
Technical Staff, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, Stockton
Mr. George Converse, Apex Envirotech, Inc.
