This letter is to inform you that a separate permit is required for the <br />installation of a pump into the new well and for any subsequent pump repair or pump <br />replacement work if the sanitary seal is broken (San Joaquin County Development Title 9- <br />1115.3). <br />The pump service contractor or property owner is able to obtain a permit for a new pump <br />installation and subsequent pump repair or pump replacement work (San Joaquin County Well <br />Standards Section 2.2). Permitting fee is based on current fee schedule. <br />A 100% penalty fee may be assessed for pump work done without the proper permit filed with <br />this department (Environmental Health Department Policy). <br />This department has not yet received a permit for the installation of a new pump for the above <br />mentioned water well.
