Do not click links or open attachments unless
you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
Hello Steven,
It has been a while since we communicated but I hope this note finds you doing well and
staying healthy. I'm contacting you because I have been asked by the Eljen company to do
regulatory consulting and I want to get them approved for use in San Joaquin County. The
system functions similarly to the Presby system in regard to being a passive combined
treatment and dispersal system. It can be installed in beds, trenches, or at grade. Typically,
dispersal is done passively through a sand bed, but if site conditions are severe, pressure
distribution can be added. The system is both NSF 40 and 245 certified, so it can be modified
for nitrogen removal.
I have attached a short description of the product and can provide you with additional
materials if you like. The Eljen system should meet the requirements of your LAMP. Please
advise as to how we can proceed with approval for this product.
Thank you and best wishes,
Bob Crandall
916-780-1750
