Sensor functionality : Functionality of the monitoring system must be verified to ensure <br /> that monitoring has been restored to meet the requirements of Title 23 California Code <br /> of Regulations and the Health & Safety Code . A copy of the alarm history shall be <br /> printed prior to performing the cold start of the monitoring panel and made available at <br /> the time of EHD inspection . <br /> j . Secondary containment test of the new diesel UDCs and 87 , 91 secondary piping must <br /> be performed in accordance with the manufacturers ' guidelines . <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD inspection <br /> and approval. <br /> 4 . Because concrete will be broken Secondary containment testing for the UDC and piping is <br /> required six months after installation . Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is <br /> scheduled . <br /> 5 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications : <br /> a . Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid , <br /> current contractor' s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( may be <br /> issued to the installation company) , or a Tank Tester' s license issued to the individual by <br /> the State Water Board <br /> b . Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid , current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC ) <br /> c . Possesses a valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br /> component (s) being tested , repaired , or serviced <br /> 6 . Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or work under <br /> the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who <br /> possesses all of the following : <br /> a . A valid , current contractor' s license issued by the Contractors State License Board <br /> b . A valid , current UST Installation / Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code <br /> Council ( ICC ) <br /> c . A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component (s) being <br /> installed <br /> 7 . The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> ( CERS ) at http : //cers , calepa . ca . gov/ and ensure all UST information is current . <br /> 8 . The tank owner or operator shall log into CERS and complete and submit a UST Certification of <br /> Installation /Modification for the under dispenser and piping altered within 30 days . <br /> 9 . All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as <br /> required by the organization ( UL , ULC , ANSI , API , ASTM , etc . ) . See California Code of <br /> Regulations ( CCR) Title 23 , Chapter 16 , Table B for a complete list . <br /> 10 . Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval .
