This plan <br />minimizes the hazards to human health and the environment that may occur as a result of <br />emergencies involving hazardous materials/wastes. The regulations that specify the <br />contingency plan requirements are found in the California Code of Regulations (CCR), 'ritle <br />22, Chapter 15, Article 4, beginning with §66265.50. <br />As a generator that stores hazardous waste onsite, we are required to complete the <br />contingency plan. We are to keep one copy ofthe plan and submit a copy of the plan to each a <br />agency that may provide emergency response to our facilities. The plan must be revised <br />wlienever the plan fails during an emergency, the facility changes, the contents of the pian <br />change or the regulations change. <br />Tile Emergency Coordin:ttar (Safety Officer) <br />has authority to implement the contingency <br />plan. In the event of an emergency, the following personnel shalt take responsibility as <br />
