Union Road, Manteca <br />APN 20403007, SR0083935 <br />Jasjit Kang, REHS, Director <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS, Assistant Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellan, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Melissa Nissim, REHS <br />Steven Shih, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the engineered Onsite <br />Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) plans and the corresponding addendum for the above noted <br />location and has the following comments for your consideration. <br />The EHD concurs with the engineered OWTS design plans and the corresponding addendum dated <br />August 10, 2021 with the following conditions: <br />1) Obtain a Residential -Engineer Designed Septic System permit prior to construction. An inspection <br />of the engineered OWTS is required, a minimum of 48 hour advanced notice is required to schedule <br />inspection. An issued building permit is required to issue an engineered OWTS permit. <br />2) The Engineered OWTS shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the Engineered OWTS <br />Plan addendum. <br />3) An Annual Operating Permit is required for the engineered OWTS (SJC OWTS 2.10.1-2.10.3). <br />4) Influent and effluent sampling of the OWTS for Nitrate -Nitrogen is required quarterly, and a report <br />submitted to the EHD annually (State Water Resources Control Board Order WQ 2014-0153-DWQ, <br />Attachment C3-C4). The samples shall be analyzed by a state certified lab. <br />5) Onsite well water sampling is required on an annual basis for Nitrate -nitrogen.
