MURO <br />5:07 - Arrived to diesel spill site. Met with Sergeant Scott Siria of the California <br />Highway Patrol (CHP), Nathan Keyser Safety Officer (Lathrop-Manteca Fire <br />Protection District), Chris Zarate Traffic Foreman San Joaquin County Public <br />Works Traffic Maintenance. The semi-truck was still in the process of being <br />up-righted. Observed dark diesel-contaminated soil under the saddle tank from <br />semi-truck (license: XP41963). Nathan Keyser reported it was about 40 — 60 <br />gallon diesel spilled from the saddle tank. Observed dark oily staining on soil that <br />came from the truck's engine. All Environmental Services arrived on site and <br />began to assess area. All Environmental determined a USA dig notification would <br />be necessary for safe removal of the contaminated soil. <br />During my site visit I met with the owner of the business, Aseem Indora. Aseem <br />provided his information as follows: <br />Flex Intermodal Inc <br />38725 Lexington St <br />Fremont, CA 94536 <br />Phone Number: 510-999-1921 <br />Added the responsible party information to the complaint that was generated by <br />the front desk. <br />Generated a Notice to Abate while on-site and emailed to: Aseem at: <br />flexintermodalinc@gmail.com. <br />Left spill site. <br />04/07/2021 4:18 PM Received page from front desk. Received notification from Sergeant <br />Scott Siria (California Highway Patrol - CHP) of a 60-gallon diesel fuel spill from a <br />semi-truck on Austin Rd. OES Spill Control #: 21 - 1853. Called Sgt Siria. Sgt <br />reported that no waterways were impacted. No injuries or exposures.
