Called FLORIDO <br />and spoke to Alex Steele, PG&E Environmental Field Specialist, who stated a <br />vehicle impacted a pole holding three transformers, which caused 35 gallons of <br />transformer oil to released onto soil. Alex stated absorbent was applied to the spill <br />area, a sample of the transformer oil will be analyzed for PCBs, and Dave Larsen <br />of PG&E will be conducting the clean-up tomorrow morning. Called and spoke to <br />Dave who confirmed the information above. Dave also stated that the <br />transformers were two 10-gallon transformers, and one 15 gallon transformer. <br />Prepared for complaint inspection. <br />Arrived on-site and met with Dave Larsen. Observed a spill area of oil <br />approximately 15ftx10ft in size. The spill <br />impacted only soil. No waterways or drains were impacted. Absorbent had been <br />applied to the spill area. The spill area was caution taped off. Took photos of the <br />spill area. Left site for EHD. <br />Arrived at EHD. Generated and emailed Notice To Abate to Alex Steele <br />(R2Sv@pge.com). Generated Prop 65, Emergency Response Record form, and <br />photo log. <br />Emailed Lydia Baker, after-hours REHS, the information regarding the spill and <br />notified her to contact Dave Larsen tomorrow to verify the clean up is complete. <br />05/22/2021 11:48am-Received call from Dave Larsen of PG&E that clean-up is ready to be <br />verified. Half of a 20 yard roll-off of waste was generated from the clean-up. <br />Roll-off has already been picked up. Waste to go to Forward. Excavation was <br />approximately 20x20 feet in size and two feet deep in the deepest spot. Left for <br />site. <br />BAKER <br />12:21 pm-Arrived on site. Clean-up is completed.
