- SAN.d0AQUIN <br />C OU N T Y- <br />F-talS2rjrt,,,o-ted Greatness grows here <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: <br />Time Out: <br /> <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: WALGREENS Date: 08/24/2021 <br />Address: 14780 S HARLAN RD, LATH ROP <br />Owner/Operator: WALGREENS Telephone: <br />Program Element: 2546 - RELEASE/SPILL RESPONSE (EXCLUDING JOINT TEAM) Complaint #: 000054190 <br />Responsible Party Contact: _ <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />DRIVER OF A TRUCK HIT A STATIONARY POLE IN THE BACK PARKING LOT CAUSING A LEAK OF AT LEAST 10 <br />GALLONS OF DIESEL FUEL <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Upon arrival, observed a large semi truck (License plate 89751X) with Walgreens logo parked behind the Walgreens store. <br />Dark oily staining measuring approximately 15x30 feet was noted below the truck and extending north toward the driveway <br />curb. Dry absorbent was initially placed below the truck and over the stained area by Walgreens employees. No storm drains <br />were observed in the immediate vicinity of the spill. All Environmental Services LLC (All Environmental) was retained for spill <br />clean up. All Environmental applied additional dry absorbent and pumped the residual diesel fuel from the truck prior to it <br />being towed away. All Environmental containerized all waste absorbent and residual diesel fuel in 55-gallon containers. One <br />55-gallon of waste absorbent and two 55-gallon drums of diesel fuel were labeled as hazardous waste and transported off-site <br />for disposal.Please be advised the disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing thereof, is prohibited when the disposal is <br />at a facility which is not permitted or authorized for hazardous waste disposal. [HSC 25189.5 (a).] Provide final hazardous <br />waste disposal documentation to the EHD for all generated wastes. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
