The facility's back parking lot and drain <br />catch basin also appeared clean. The valve in the drain was closed. Per Tom, and <br />Aaron Spehling, General Manager, the wastewater pit overflow was pumped back <br />into the treatment process to be treated. Clean-up deemed complete. Also <br />observed on-site was an orange-colored tank, which holds fresh water used to <br />wash laundry per Tom, located across the waste water pit, which was actively <br />leaking liquid down the side of the tank. The pH of the liquid on the ground was <br />8.99. Per Tom, the liquid leaking onto the ground will be placed into the waste <br />water pit and from there the liquid goes through the treatment process. Took <br />photos. Discussed complaint with Elena Manzo, Ld Sr REHS. <br />Generated and emailed Tom a Notice To Abate to ensure that all necessary spill <br />notifications to other agencies are made, provide a written statement documenting <br />the corrective action measures that were put in place to minimize the potential for <br />future releases, and provide a brief written statement confirming that all the <br />recovered liquid and rinsate will be treated via onsite hazardous waste treatment <br />system. <br />09/01/2021 <br />09/02/2021 Generated Prop 65, Emergency Response Record form, and photo log <br />09/08/2021 Documented narrative. <br />10/04/2021 Received an email on 10/1/2021 from Aaron Spehling, <br />spehling-aaron@aramark.com, with property owner information.
