HazeIton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
RE: Request for information dated 12/09/2020
Dear Ms. Muro,
Per your email request on 12/09/2020
Request: I am assuming since the facility's other waste was also picked up on the same manifest, that
four of the six drums listed under item 11 were generated from other facility operations. Is the total liquid
waste generated two 55-gallon drums the correct amount of liquid waste generated from the 11-27-2020
event?
Can you find out how staff managed the used absorbent and absorbent pad that was placed under the
fire-damaged car? Will any of the absorbent, and/or absorbent pad be reused? If it will be deemed waste,
please provide total amount of this waste, and whether it was stored or disposed of, and how it is/was
labeled; [hazardous or non-hazardous].
Response: Yes, the facilities other waste was also picked up on the same manifest. Two full drums were
from the event on 11-27-2020 (559 total lbs). The remainder of the waste in the four drums was generated
from other facility operations. Some material from the 11/27/2020 event was included in the one of the
other drums.
None of the absorbent or absorbent pads will be reused. The staff managed the remainder of the cleanup
materials as "Non-RCRA hazardous waste, solid (Used oil, Debris)". The total weight of this waste was 60
pounds. The waste has been disposed of and labeled as Non-RCRA hazardous waste. Please refer to Item
#14 on manifest 015096253 FLE. (Attachment 1). Please note that additional other waste generated from
the facility was added to this manifest line item.
If you have any further questions please contact me at (714) 496-8687 or at burnslil@amazon.com .
Sincerely,
Lillian Burns
Site Environmental Manager
