S A N J D AR I N Environmental Health Department <br /> (L)j ;"� i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> AJS MINI MART INC 7906 N EL DORADO ST, STOCKTON March 21, 2022 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection.According the operator Manu Trehan this facility has not generated hazardous waste in <br /> the past two years. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding <br /> the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years for all hazardous waste . <br /> Provide these records and a corrective action statement to the EHD within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 302 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to have all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility is not equipped with the following equipment:The facility could not provide a spill <br /> control equipment during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> All facilities shall be equipped with the following, unless it can be demonstrated to the Department that none of the <br /> hazards posed by waste handled at the facility could require a particular kind of equipment specified below: <br /> (a)an internal communications or alarm system capable of providing immediate emergency instruction (voice or <br /> signal)to facility personnel; <br /> (b)a device, such as a telephone (immediately available at the scene of operations)or a hand-held two-way radio, <br /> capable of summoning emergency assistance from local police departments,fire departments, or State or local <br /> emergency response teams; <br /> (c)portable fire extinguishers,fire control equipment(including special extinguishing equipment, such as that using <br /> foam, inert gas, or dry chemicals), spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment; and <br /> (d)water at adequate volume and pressure to supply water hose streams, or foam producing equipment, or <br /> automatic sprinklers, or water spray systems . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately install the following equipment: Spill Control equipment( Broom/shovel and <br /> bucket with lid to clean up fuel spills).
