Other Requirements may also apply. These Requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. A soil suitability study, as required by Section 9-1105.2 (d) of the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, indicating that the area is suitable for a septic tank system must be <br /> performed prior to recordation of Parcel Map. A review fee of$156.00 is required at time of <br /> submittal to the Environmental Health Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$78.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map. Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1115.7). <br /> C. The agricultural well (s) must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental <br /> Health Division(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> a. Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall <br /> maintain an air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. <br /> The discharge pipe shall also have two 1/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the <br /> bottom of the pipe and opposite each other or a back-flow device approved by San <br /> Joaquin County must be installed. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
