1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: 1.1 Description of site: The project consists of a 5.0 acre and a 3.68 acre parcel located at 22001 E. Copperopolis Road and 21880 E. Eastern Height Road, Linden, CA 95236. The subject Assessor's Parcel Number's are 093-030-30 and 13. The project is in a rural residential neighborhood. The parcel is zoned Rural Residential (RR). 1.2 Description of Proposed Development: It is proposed to create three 2 acre parcels and a 2.68 acre parcel. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) is being submitted for approval. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical environmental contamination based on field observation, interviews with the owner, and County records. (This SSCR includes no chemical analysis). 1.3 Parcel location map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map with Vicinity Map and APN page). 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE• 2.1 Discussion of Past, Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of information of the historic use of this property is testimony from the owner, Darin Yray, who was interviewed in November, 2021. Mr. Yray has owned one of the parcels for about 30 years and one since 2021. 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION: 3.1 Methods used to research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched at the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office in December, 2021 (see appendix for results). An onsite survey was performed in November, 2021 by Joe Murphy of Dillon & Murphy. The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's underground storage tank mitigation database list did not yield any concerns. 3.2 Description of all past on-site potential and/or known above and below ground sources of contamination identified at the project site: Past on-site potentials for contaminations are low. Historically there has been no underground storage tanks, not including the septic tanks permitted with the San Joaquin County. The owner has no knowledge of improper above ground storage of chemicals on the subject parcel. 3.3 Description of All Current On -Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground Sources of Contamination Identified at the Project Site: Presently, there are no underground storage tanks on the property and visual inspection did not produce any evidence of buried containers, as well as no odors that would be associated with buried chemical tanks. County records indicated there are tanks on site. On-site rainwater dissipates through either percolation or evaporation.
