File No.: 20-2253-02
May 5, 1988
rTa,n•"9, "d
r"
Blatt Development
7883 North Pershing Avenue
Stockton, California 95207
ENVIK ' E tal HEALTH
Attention: Mr. Bob Massengale FER,vli/SEtWICES
Subject: PERCOLATION TESTS
JOHNATHON ESTATES/HILDRETH LANE
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA/SU-87-20
Gentlemen:
As requested, a representative of our firm performed si percolation tests at
the subject site. Percolation tests were performed at he approximate locations
shown on the attached site plan, Plate 1.
The percolation test holes were drilled and set-up on April 26, 1988, using
6-inch diameter continuous flight auger. Approximate 25-foot deep borings were
drilled at the proposed locations of the leach fields on lots 2 through 7.
Continuous logs of the soils encountered were maintained and are included as
Plates III through VIII. All soils have been classified according to the
Unified Soils Classification System, presented on Plate H.
On May 4, 1988, a representative of our firm returned to the site to perform the
percolation tests. Tests were performed according to San Joaquin County guide-
lines and the last 30 minutes of each test was observed by a County Health
Officer. The percolation test holes were measured to have percolation rates of
from 4 to 15 minutes per inch. A summary of the percolation test results is
presented in Table I and the county approved field work sheets are attached.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
KLEINFELDER
Patrick C.
