Item No . 1
PC: 10-16-86
SU-86-9
Page 2
STAFF ANALYSIS
After reviewing the situation in the field, Planning staff con-
curs with the Department of Public Works ' request to delete
Condition No. 2 . That portion of Bird Road between Linne Road
and Lehman Road carries minimal traffic and does not appear to
warrant any road improvements. In addition, improving one-half
the road for an 800-foot segment will not benefit the traveling
public and may actually be a hazard due to the change in road
width.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS :
As part of the subdivision approval , the Planning Commission
adopted a Negative Declaration on April 17 , 1986 . Based on the
fact that deleting Condition No. 2 will not change the environ-
mental aspects of the project , it is appropriate to reaffirm the
previously adopted Negative Declaration.
APPLICATION DATA
Legal Ad Published in the Stockton Record on 10-6-86 .
No. of Public Notices Sent : 10 .
