The leachline trench infiltrative area is considered to be 800 sf. Factoring a long term acceptance
rate (LTAR) after biomat formation of 0.2 gals/sf/day, an acceptance rate in gallons per day (gpd)
is calculated to be 160 gpd. Given a reasonable wastewater ADF generation of 70 gals/bedroom =
2 bedrooms x 70 gpd/bedroom = 140 gpd (§7.1.3). Therefore, sufficient infiltrative area exists to
manage the LTAR.
LIMITATIONS
The findings and conclusions of this report are based upon information from standard engineering
and analytical test procedures, contemporary scientific literature and agency consultations.
Information used in these studies is deemed reliable by the sources from where it was obtained.
This report is based upon current scientific knowledge to assess factors which are extremely
variable and complex within the environment.
