January 26, 1979
W. Dave Olmstead
19 East Eth Street
Tracy, CA 95376
RE: Proposed Subdivision
Santos Ranch, Tract 1.487
The Local !Eealth District has reviewed plans for the proposed
rural residential subdivision, Santos Ranch, unit No. 2, in
the Tracy area.
It is my understanding that individual lots will not be sold.
The developers proposed to construct the dwellings and install
individual wells and sewage disposal systems on all lots prior
to offering for sale to the public.
The Local Health District will accept individual wells and
individual sewage disposal systems in this subdivision. The
installations are to meet the Rules and Regulations of county
ordinances pursuant to water supply and sewage disposal. All
wells shall have a cement annular seal a minimum of a fifty
(50) foot depth. Bentonite will not,be acceptable as a sealin,_
material for the annular seal in this rural residential sub-
division. The developers shall assure an adequate water supply.
The well installation shall not penetrate aquifers that will re-
sult in the degradation of a fresh water aquifer wilt-. water from
an aquifer of undesirable water quality.
Soil percolation tests shall determine the size of the leachint
area. The leaching areas shall be designated on tae "final map.
It is my understanding that this condition is agreeable to the
developers of the subdivision.
Jack J.
