S-81-9) <br />Enclosed is a memorandum of the Santos Ranch Subdivision describing an <br />8 April 1981 inspection by Regional Board staff and San Joaquin County Local <br />Health District Sanitarians. We previously commented (26 March 1981) to you <br />on the subject subdivision. <br />The memorandum describes those conditions that do not conform to San Joaquin <br />County's Ordinance 549 and the Board's "Guidelines For Waste Disposal From <br />Land Developments". <br />We recommend denial of the application until sufficient information regarding <br />local soil and ground water conditions is available to judge the area's capa- <br />bility to successfully handle the added wastes. <br />STAN R.
