W. DAVE OLMSTEAD
BROKER -DEVELOPER
W. D. O., INC.
POST OFFICE BOX 134
TRACY. CALIFORNIA 95398 0134
August 11, 1986
Mr. Lee Hall, Director
S. J. County Local Health Dist.
Post Office Box 2009
Stockton, California 95201
Re: Santos/Los Ranchos Public Well
Dear Lee:
TELEPHONE
(209) 835 -]284
The purpose of this correspondence is to update you
relative to the engineering and installation of a
water treatment system on the above wells. Be advised
that our engineers are waiting for Public Works to
decide the best location for this installation before
final drawings can be completed. Waiting for decisions
from Public Works has been a chronic problem for some
time now even on routine matters. I seriously doubt
that Public Works will have approved any kind of instal-
lation by the deadline of this December, let alone having
the installation up and operating. The approval process
alone could take six months to a year and therefore a
request is hereby made that the time perameters required
for installation of the treatment system be modified
as follows:
1. Engineering plans are to be submitted to the
Local Health Department and Department of Public
Works for a treatment system no later than Decem-
ber 1, 1986.
2. Such system, when approved, shall be installed
and operating within six months after approval
of all County and State agencies.
Si c'
W.
