OBSERVATION: Designated facility signed and dated copies of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests (UHWM) were not found on-site. The missing manifests are: 007158661 SKS-08/23/2019 007769150SKS-03/23/2021 007769151 SKS-03/23/2021 008306306SKS-01/27/2022 REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter. The hazardous waste generator must submit an exception report to the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)within 45 days if the destination facility signed manifest copy is not received from the transporter or designated facility. CORRECTIVE ACTION: This violation was corrected at the time of the inspection. I showed Miguel Gallo, Parts Manager, how to obtain copies from the Department of Toxic Substance's Control's hazardous waste tracking system. Miguel printed copies of the missing manifests and they are now available on site. This is a repeat violation, Class II.
