SAN ,dDAQ U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> C01-INTY AMENDED <br /> 4/21/2022 <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> LODI HONDA 1 1700 S CHEROKEE LN, LODI April 20, 2022 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 303 CCR 66265.33 Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: One portable fire extinguisher was observed inside the service area(near the lube oil tank)with <br /> the gauge outside the green section. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the fire extinguisher into proper working order by repair, replacement or testing. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 512 CCR 66265.192(h) Failure to obtain a reassessment of a tank system within 5 years or as required. <br /> OBSERVATION: This facility has hazardous waste tanks which have not been reassessed by a Professional <br /> Engineer within the past five years. Per the EHD's records, the last tank assessment was performed on <br /> 12/02/2016. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> The assessment specified in subsection (k)of this section shall be obtained prior to placing a new tank system in <br /> service and shall be kept on file at the facility.This assessment shall be reviewed and certified by an independent, <br /> qualified, professional engineer, registered in California, in accordance with section 66270.11(d), attesting that the <br /> tank system has sufficient structural integrity and is acceptable for the transferring, storing and treating of hazardous <br /> waste. The assessment shall be valid for a maximum period of five(5)years or the remaining service life of the tank <br /> system, as stated in the engineer's assessment,whichever is less. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. Provide a complete copy of the tank assessment <br /> document,when available. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
