The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for LODI HONDA as of September 29 , 2022 . <br /> Open violations from April 20 , 2022 inspection <br /> Violation #117 - Failed to maintain complete hazardous waste training records . <br /> OBSERVATION : The business operator could not produce documentation during the inspection that demonstrates <br /> employees have complete hazardous waste training as specified in this section . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE : New employees shall be trained within 180 days of hire and annually thereafter as <br /> specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66265 . 16 . The owner or operator shall maintain training <br /> records on current personnel until closure of the facility and training records on former employees for at least three <br /> years from the date the employee last worked at the facility. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately train all employees who work with hazardous waste in compliance with the <br /> time frames and training materials required by this section . Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) within 30 days . The documentation must include a list of training <br /> topics , date of training , job title , name of employee , written job description (qualifications and duties) , and employee <br /> signed (or certified) record that documents the training . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #512 = Failure to obtain a reassessment of a tank system within 5 years or as required . <br /> OBSERVATION : This facility has hazardous waste tanks which have not been reassessed by a Professional <br /> Engineer within the past five years . Per the EHD's records , the last tank assessment was performed on <br /> 12/02/2016 . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE : <br /> The assessment specified in subsection (k) of this section shall be obtained prior to placing a new tank system in <br /> service and shall be kept on file at the facility. This assessment shall be reviewed and certified by an independent, <br /> qualified , professional engineer, registered in California , in accordance with section 66270 . 11 (d ) , attesting that the <br /> tank system has sufficient structural integrity and is acceptable for the transferring , storing and treating of hazardous <br /> waste . The assessment shall be valid for a maximum period of five (5) years or the remaining service life of the tank <br /> system , as stated in the engineer's assessment, whichever is less . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) within 30 days . Provide a complete copy of the tank assessment <br /> document, when available. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
