The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for LODI HONDA as of November02 , 2022 . Open violations from April 20, 2022 inspection Violation #117 - Failed to maintain complete hazardous waste training records . OBSERVATION The business operator could not produce documentation during the inspection that demonstrates employees have complete hazardous waste training as specified in this section . REGULATION GUIDANCE: New employees shall be trained within 180 days of hire and annually thereafter as specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66265 . 16 . The owner or operator shall maintain training records on current personnel until closure of the facility and training records on former employees for at least three years from the date the employee last worked at the facility. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train all employees who work with hazardous waste in compliance with the time frames and training materials required by this section . Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) within 30 days . The documentation must include a list of training topics , date of training , job title , name of employee , written job description (qualifications and duties ) , and employee signed (or certified ) record that documents the training . ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) . ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : Violation #512 - Failure to obtain a reassessment of a tank system within 5 years or as required . OBSERVATION This facility has hazardous waste tanks which have not been reassessed by a Professional Engineer within the past five years . Per the EHD' s records , the last tank assessment was performed on 12/02/2016 . REGULATION GUIDANCE: The assessment specified in subsection ( k) of this section shall be obtained prior to placing a new tank system in service and shall be kept on file at the facility . This assessment shall be reviewed and certified by an independent, qualified , professional engineer, registered in California , in accordance with section 66270 . 11 ( d ) , attesting that the tank system has sufficient structural integrity and is acceptable for the transferring , storing and treating of hazardous waste . The assessment shall be valid for a maximum period of five (5 ) years or the remaining service life of the tank system , as stated in the engineer' s assessment , whichever is less . CORRECTIVE ACTION : Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) within 30 days .
