RECEIVED <br /> NOV 0 3 2022 <br /> F NVIRONMENTT&A-fdlWit��is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES addressed for LODI HONDA as of September 29, 2022. <br /> Open violations from April 20, 2022 inspection <br /> Violation#117-Failed to maintain complete hazardous waste training records. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not produce documentation during the inspection that demonstrates <br /> employees have complete hazardous waste training as specified in this section. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: New employees shall be trained within 180 days of hire and annually thereafter as <br /> specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66265.16. The owner or operator shall maintain training <br /> records on current personnel until closure of the facility and training records on former employees for at least three <br /> years from the date the employee last worked at the facility. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train all employees who work with hazardous waste in compliance with the <br /> time frames and training materials required by this section. Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. Per the EHD's records,the last tank assessment was performed on <br /> 12/02/2016. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> The assessment specified in subsection(k)of this section shall be obtained prior to placing a new tank system in <br /> service and shall be kept on file at the facility.This assessment shall be reviewed and certified by an independent, <br /> qualified, professional engineer, registered in California, in accordance with section 66270.11(d),attesting that the <br /> tank system has sufficient structural integrity and is acceptable for the transferring, storing and treating of hazardous <br /> waste. The assessment shall be valid for a maximum period of five(5)years or the remaining service life of the tank <br /> system,as stated in the engineer's assessment,whichever is less. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days.
