San Joaquin County
Well Standards states: "to determine quality of water produced by a new water well, it shall be
sampled by the EHD for bacteriological and chemical analysis after development, the
installation of the well pump, and disinfection". The sampling service fee was included with the
well permit issuance.
We have sampled your new well and have received your results. Your water sample was
analyzed by FGL Stockton Laboratory, a state certified lab.
The well water meets and exceeds currentrip maty drinking water standards for microbiological
content and inorganic chemical content (nitrates).
The well water does not meet current secondary drinking water standards. Chloride,
Manganese, Specific Conductance, and Total Dissolved Solids exceed the MCL (Maximum
Contamination Limit) adopted by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board.
For more information and possible health effects, please refer to the attachments along with the
full analytical results. If you have any questions regarding your well water test results you may
contact Aaron Gooderham, Registered Environmental Health Specialist at (209) 616-3062.
Steven Shih, REHS
Program Coordinator
*As authorized by San Joaquin County Ordinance code section 9-1115.6
1868 E.
