4.0 CONCLUSIONS
Based on the field observations and laboratory analytical data presented in this report, APTIM concludes
the following:
• On February 24, 2021, two 5,000-gallon Diesel ASTs, associated piping, and fuel dispensers
were removed from the site.
• TPH-D and TPH-G were detected in the composite soil stockpile sample at concentrations of
630 mg/kg and 110 mg/kg,respectively.VOCs were detected in levels ranging from 0.12 mg/kg
to 1.4 mg/kg. No analytes were detected in the soil samples collected from the piping trench.
• On March 5, 2021, the stockpiled soils were placed into an on-site roll-off bin for future
disposal and approximately 3 yards of clean imported fill material were used to backfill the
former piping trench.
• On March 12, 2021,the stockpiled soils, piping, and 55-gallon drum containing diesel fuel and
absorbent were hauled off site by Environmental Logistics, Inc. for disposal at the Hazmat
TSDF, Inc Facility in Bloomington California.
• Based on the lack of analytes in the piping trench samples, no further action related to the two
former 5,000-gallon diesel ASTs is warranted.
4.1 Reporting Requirements
A copy of this report should be forwarded to the following regulatory agency:
Mr. Daniel Stowe
South San Joaquin County Fire Authority
Community Risk Reduction Division
835 Central Avenue
Tracy, CA 95876
LOWE'S TRACY CA DC LOWE'S TRACY CA DC AST SYSTEM REMOVAL REPORT.DOCX 4-1 PROJECT NUMBER 723019111
