k4KLEI N FELDER
File No. 20-1016-88
May 6, 1988 RAY AXTON
Agricultural/Residential and
Investment Properties
Real Estate
Sassco Realty
A Subsidiary of A.R. Sasser, Inc.79 East 11th Street (209) 835-9000
Tracy, CA 95378 Box 1188 • 79 E. 11th Street, Tracy,California95378-1188
Attention: Mr. Ray Axton
Subject: PERCOLATION TESTS
WILLIAM do LYDIA YEE PARCEL
MS# 88-54
TRACY CALIFORNIA
Gentlemen:
Presented in this letter are the results of our soil borings and percolation testing
performed for the William and Lydia Yee Parcel in Tracy, California.
The field explorations for this project consisted of drilling one soil profile to a depth
of 15 feet, one percolation test, and one percolation retest. In regards to the soil
profile and percolation test, reference is made to our letter dated March 3, 1988.
No groundwater was encountered in the borings. However, it is possible that
groundwater conditions at the site could change at some time in the future due to
variations in rainfall, groundwater withdrawal, construction activities, irrigation, or
other factors not apparent at the time our borings were drilled.
The percolation retest was set-up on May 2, 1988, by a representative of our firm.
The retest hole was excavated to a depth of 8 feet and had a diameter of 4 inches.
PVC pipe was then inserted into the retest hole and approximately 6 inches of clean
sand was placed on the soil surface within the pipe to avoid disturbance of the soil
when the water was poured into the pipe. The retest hole was then filled to the
surface with a relatively clean water and left to soak overnight. On May 2, 1988, a
representative of our firm returned to the site to perform the percolation retest. The
retest was performed according to the guidelines as outlined by San Joaquin County.
The percolation retest was measured to have a percolation rate of 6 minutes per inch.
Copies of the test sheets approved by the County are attached to this letter.
KLEINFELDER 2825 East Mvrtle Street, Stockton, CA 9520; (209) y4ii_rta;
