w s— 5 to 471
KLEINFELDER
File No. 20-2949-02
October 24, 1989
Rose Plastering
13406 So. Highway 99 Frontage
Manteca, CA 95336
Attention: Dave Rose
Subject: TEST BORING AND PERCOLATION TEST
PROPERTY AT 13404 SOUTH HIGHWAY 99 FRONTAGE
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Gentlemen:
As requested, on October 10, 1989 representatives of our firm drilled one test boring
to a depth of approximately 10 feet and drilled and set-up one 3-foot deep percolation
test hole at requested locations. The test boring and percolation test hole were
drilled with a truck mounted drill rig using continuous-flight auger. A continuous log
of the soils encountered in the test boring was maintained by our representative and is
presented on the Log of Boring, Plate Il. All soils have been classified according to
the Unified Soil Classification System which is presented on Plate I.
The percolation test hole was filled with water on October 19, 1989 and left to soak
overnight. A representative of our firm returned to the site on October 20, 1989 and
performed the percolation test per San Joaquin County guidelines. The test was
performed for a period of four hours and the last 30 minutes was used to calculate
the percolation rate of 34 minutes per inch. The county approved percolation field
test sheet is included with this letter.
We trust this letter presents the information requested at this time. If you have any
questions, please contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
KLEINFELDER, INC.
N 7 V 1989
L
Steven R.
