If overpacking of a container is necessary, the participant will be <br />directed by the site materials supervisor to a designated overpack area. <br />Equipment: duct tape <br />clear ziplock bags of various sizes <br />55 -gallon drum liners (6 mm) <br />UNIA2 drums (open head) <br />85 -gallon overpack drums <br />* In the event that a spill or release occurs which presents a safety hazard beyond <br />the protective capabilities of the issued PPE, the area will be evacuated and the <br />appropriate emergency response actions will be activated by the Site Supervisor. (see <br />evacuation procedure to Health and Safety Plan) <br />If evacuation does become necessary, the Site Supervisor, Assistant Site <br />Supervisor, the Supervisor will be there to direct everyone to proceed.,tQ_.an area <br />upwind of the waste handling area. Traffic control personnel, before 1'eaving their <br />area, will direct vehicles out of their lanes and to an exit away from the hazard. Waste <br />handlers will assist them in this duty if needed. <br />Everyone at the site should keep in mind which way the wind is coming from <br />and where they would go in case an evacuation occures. <br />
