When leaving the site, taking breaks, or <br />going to lunch, you must follow the required decontamination procedures as <br />follows: <br />1) Asses the condition of your PPE. If your tyvek <br />suit is in good shape (no nips, uncontaminated) <br />you may reuse it. Your outer gloves may be reused <br />only if they have no holes and have not been <br />excessively contaminated. If your inner gloves <br />have been in any way contaminated throw them away. <br />If some or all of your PPE is not in good shape <br />discard it into the appropriate drum. Any PPE found to be <br />reusable should be taken off and left in the decontamination area. <br />2) Wash your hands thoroughly in the designated <br />wash tub then rinse them in both rinse tubs. -._. <br />3) When returning to the site make sure you are <br />wearing all required PPE. <br />The Site Safety Officer will monitor all decontamination procedures. <br />No personnel or equipment will be allowed to leave the site without his <br />personal approval. In addition, all site safety equipment, tools or any other <br />item used in the contamination zone will be cleaned and inspected daily by site <br />personnel under the Site Safety Officer's direction. <br />II - 13 <br />
