Number
Residential oil does not require the use of an EPA I.D. number. However, our hauler believes we are
required to have a number. To avoid further confusion, San Joaquin County will use the EPA I.D. site
numbers bulleted below for all day-to-day HHW exempt wastes generated from County -owned disposal
sites. This will include oil, anti -freeze, batteries, and latex paint dropped of by residents while they use
County disposal facilities. These I.D. numbers will be marked on the requisite tanks to further ease the
manifesting process. The signer of the manifest will also write EXEMPT in large letters across the face
of the manifest.
North County Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Program - CAH 111 000 503
17900 East Harney Lane, Lodi, California 95240
Lovelace Materials Recovery Facility and Transfer Station - CAH 111 000 504
2323 East Lovelace Road, Manteca, California 9237
In discussions with Lee Halverson, DTSC Permitting, it was evident that the alternative of using the HI -1W`
I.D. numbers associated with HHW program activities at each site would require an increased 303 Form
reporting, something to be avoided. Mr. Halverson and I agree that this is the easiest way to resolve the
issue.
Thank you for assisting San Joaquin County.
