Box 1810 <br />Stockton, California 95201 <br />VARIANCE AUTHORIZING SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY TO CONDUCT A <br />THREE DAY MOBILE HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION <br />EVENT - HHWVAR990403 <br />Dear Mr. Hirata: <br />This letter is in response to San Joaquin County, Department of Public Works <br />request for a variance to operate a three-day mobile household hazardous waste (HHW) <br />collection event as listed below. <br />San Joaquin Delta College <br />Shima Lot #2 <br />5151 Pacific Avenue <br />Stockton, CA 95207 <br />June 3-5, 1999 <br />The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has completed its review of <br />your April 19, 1999 submittal requesting this.variance to operate the mobile household <br />hazardous waste collection facility specified above. Based on the information submitted <br />and contractor operations plans, DTSC is granting a variance to San Joaquin County, <br />Department of Public Works subject to the conditidns and limitations set forth in the <br />attached document. <br />Pursuant to Health and Safety Code (HSC), section 25205.3, household hazardous <br />waste collection facilities operated by local government agencies are exempt from all fees <br />imposed by HSC, Article 9.1.
