In doing so, we would like to request a variance from the following <br />sections of the Health and Safety Code: <br />1. Section 25201 (facility permit requirments) allowing the operation of a three day temporary <br />Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event. <br />The County of San Joaquin operates THHWC events on a rotating basis throughout the County <br />approximately 9 times per year. The event will be open for all residents of San Joaquin County <br />to drop off household waste. <br />Thank you for your attention to this matter.
