FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS <br />Description of physical characteristics and chemical composition of the <br />hazardous waste to which this variance applies. This variance is requested to <br />authorize the operation of an MEP at a location other than at an authorized HHW <br />facility. Reusable household hazardous products screened from the loadcheck <br />operation or collected through the county's HHW program and that have been selected <br />for reissue under a quality assurance/quality control plan will be transferred to a central <br />reissue location. The materials are typical of home maintenance items that may <br />include: cleaners, automotive supplies, garden chemicals, and paints, and are <br />generally in containers of 1 gallon or less. <br />
