concrete -paved dock pavements directly northerly of the building on the Property as depicted in <br />Exhibit A3 attached hereto. The following constituents were identified during site investigations and <br />primarily associated with the glass waste material. Laboratory testing of confirmation samples has <br />demonstrated that concentrations of residual constituents at the site are below commercial/industrial <br />screening levels. <br />(1) Lead up to 390-ugIL was detected in Dl WET analyses of waste material excavated from <br />Waste Unit 1. <br />(2) Chromium was detected up to 69-ugIL in Dl WET analyses of waste material excavated from <br />- Waste Unit 1. Naturally occurring chromium may also be contributing to chromium <br />concentrations at various locations around the Property and vicinity. <br />(3) While dioxin and furans at low concentrations are ubiquitous across Property soils, dioxin and <br />furan concentrations were found in excavated landfilled waste material (that was subsequently <br />removed from the Property) up to 75-pglg in the waste cells. <br />(4) Concentrations of PCBs Arochlor 1260, 1254, and 1016 up to 3.03-mg/kg were found in <br />excavated waste from the waste cells on the Property (these materials were removed from the <br />Property). <br />(5) Diesel range total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-d) up to 1,900-mg/kg (these materials were <br />subsequently removed from the property) were found in glass binding samples of the <br />excavated glass waste material. <br />(6) Motor oil range total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-m) up to 3,200-mg/kg (below <br />commercial/industrial screening levels) were found in glass binding samples of the excavated <br />glass waste material. <br />Soil <br />The three known waste cells on the Property have been remediated to levels below <br />commercial/industrial screening levels. The following compounds were identified in Property soils <br />during investigations. <br />(1) Dioxin and furans at low concentrations below 5-picograms per gram (pg/g) of dioxins and <br />furans are ubiquitous across Property soils. Dioxin and furan concentrations were also found in <br />waste from the waste cells as described above. <br />(2) Concentrations of up to 0.72-mg/kg of the PCBs Arochlor 1260, 1254, and 1016 were detected <br />in soil from the former stormwater pond east of the former Waste Unit 1. PCB concentrations <br />were also found in waste as noted in the Waste section above. <br />Groundwater <br />The following constituents were detected in groundwater during site investigations below <br />commercial/industrial screening levels. The origins of these constituents are thought to be a <br />combination of site activities and disposal practices, migration from adjacent properties, and <br />geographically naturally occurring.
