2
11020 Sun Center Dr., #200
Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
916-464-4677

From: Robert Marty <rmarty@advgeoenv.com>
Sent: Wednesday, March 13, 2019 5:41 PM
To: Palmer, Ann@Waterboards <Ann.Palmer@waterboards.ca.gov>; Djuth, Gerald@Waterboards
<Gerald.Djuth@waterboards.ca.gov>; Linda Turkatte [EH] <LTurkatte@sjcehd.com>
Cc: Robert McClellon [EH] <RMcClellon@sjcehd.com>; Brian W. Millman <bmillman@advgeoenv.com>; Dana Parry
<danap@reynoldsandbrown.com>
Subject: Schedule for excavation, 500 East Louise Avenue (Waste Unit 1)

Ann, Gerald and Linda:

In regard to the excavation at 500 East Louise Avenue, Lathrop, San Joaquin County, our Client
(Reynolds and Brown) will be proceeding with the removal of Waste Unit 1 beginning Monday, 18
March 2019. The work will proceed in accordance with the work plan submitted on 22 February 2019,
using identical protocol as the previous work on the adjacent area to the south.

Additionally, on Tuesday, 12 March 2018, AGE spoke with Ms. Ann Palmer in the field (while at the
adjacent Co-Gen site) and discussed that work would be initiated by Monday, 18 March 2018. Ms.
Palmer indicated that the Board may have a comment letter by Friday, 15 March 2019, prior to
excavation. Mr. Brian Millman also discussed the urgency of proceeding with Linda Turkatte of the
EHD via telephone the same day.

Because of the necessity to complete this work, we apologize for the relatively short notice. However,
we are hopeful that representatives of both the Board and EHD can arrange to observe portions of
the excavation and sampling work. AGE, of course, will carefully document the work as it proceeds.
The cap and waste will be segregated and stockpiled immediately east of the excavated area;
verification sampling will not likely performed until the waste glass has been fully identified and
removed.

We apologize for any confusion regarding the excavation schedule. If you have any questions, please
do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,
