Specifically, the soil gas monitoring program
has been required to evaluate whether soil gas contaminants, including methane and volatile
organic compounds (VOCs), exist at the westerly margin of the property as a result of
uncharacterized subsurface wastes that reportedly exist offsite to the west of the subject property.

A Vicinity Map showing the location of the subject property is presented as Plate 1. Plate 2 is a
Site Map showing the layout of the property, a large light-industrial/warehouse building at the
site, and the locations of the two onsite soil gas monitoring wells. A detail drawing of the far
westerly portion of the property showing the locations of the soil gas monitoring wells and the
layout of pavements in this area is presented as Plate 3. Soil gas field screening data and
analytical laboratory results are summarized on the attached Table I. The laboratory reports and
chain-of-custody documentation also are attached.
