Bird Rd, Tracy <br />APN 252-140-09, SR0083240 <br />Jasjit Kang, REHS, Director <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS, Assistant Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Michael Kith, REHS <br />Melissa Nissim, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br />Loading (SSNL) Study, dated February 3, 2021 and its second addendum dated February 11, 2021 for the <br />above noted location, and has the following comments for your consideration. <br />The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater treatment <br />system (OWTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater from either a two bedroom <br />home or a three-bedroom home. <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings: <br />EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for standard OWTS. The septic tank size shall be <br />upgraded to 1,600 gallons to promote additional denitrification.
