All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The soap dispenser in the staff restroom was empty. Maintain the soap dispenser stocked at all times to <br />ensure proper hand washing. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed a box of spice shakers stored inside the employee restroom. Store food and food related <br />items in different location (not in restroom). Store all food and food related items a minimum of six inches above floor today. <br />This was corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving. (114047, 114049, 114051, 114053, 114055, 114067(h), 114069 (b)) <br /> #36 Equipment/Utensils/Linens: Proper Storage / Use <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed dust pan and brooms stored on right side of three compartment sink and in front of three <br />compartment sink. Remove and store cleaning equipment/chemicals in a designated area away from food prep and food <br />storage areas immediately. <br />Observed the ice scoop stored on top of the ice machine. Clean and sanitize the ice scoop and store in a cleanable <br />container when not in use. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All clean and soiled linen shall be properly stored non-food items shall be stored and displayed separate from <br />food and food-contact surfaces. (114185.3 - 114185.4) Utensils and equipment shall be handled and stored so as to be protected from <br />contamination.
