Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: MANNYS CALIFORNIA FRESH CAFE, 1612 PACIFIC AVE, STOCKTON 95204 <br />Food Program Official Inspection Report <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed rodent droppings on the floor behind the ice cream machine. Clean and sanitize area <br />immediately. Increase pest control measures. Discard any contaminated items immediately. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed the following containers open: <br />-a container of salt located on a storage shelf near the ice cream machine (no lid) <br />-an open container of cut strawberries was observed inside the three door reach-in below prep in the cook line <br />-Open bag of lettuce in the two door reach in located across from three compartment sink <br />-Open five gallon buckets of chicken on the floor inside the walk-in cooler <br />Maintain food items covered with tight-fitting lids in a labeled container to protect from contamination. Correct today. <br />(REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving. (114047, 114049, 114051, 114053, 114055, 114067(h), 114069 (b)) <br /> #33 Nonfood Contact Surfaces Clean <br />OBSERVATIONS: Kitchen hand sink was observed dirty. Clean today. (REPEAT) <br />Bread toaster was observed with a dirty handle. Clean today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean. (114115 (c)) <br /> #35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed grease accumulation on the hood filters. Clean within one week. <br />The walk in freezer was observed with a temperature of 38F. Food items in walk in freezer were not frozen. Repair walk in <br />freezer today. <br />Steamer across from three compartment sink was observed leaking. Repair or replace within 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair. (114175). All utensils and equipment <br />shall be approved, installed properly, and meet applicable standards.
