ATTACHMENT <br /> SPECIAL PURPOSE PLAN NO. PP-96-1 <br /> 1. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT: <br /> a. APPROVED USE: This approval is for a Special Purpose Plan which includes only a <br /> Comprehensive Sign Plan described as follows: The Comprehensive Sign Plan regulates <br /> signs on approximately 28 acres of property zoned C-FS located on the south side of <br /> State Route 12, east of the Flag City development. Signs shall comply with all <br /> requirements of the Development Title, with the following exceptions: <br /> (1) One (1) 120-foot-high, double-faced, multi-tenant pole sign may be permitted. <br /> Each face shall be no greater than 1200 square feet in area. Additional pole <br /> signs shall not be permitted. <br /> (2) Logo displays on multiple walls may be permitted. <br /> 2. CALIFORNIA STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION: <br /> a. An outdoor advertising permit is required from the California Department of <br /> Transportation's Outdoor Advertising Branch. <br /> b. Although the permit will be issued by the Outdoor Advertising Branch, the actual physical <br /> location of the sign is important for future issuance of a Caltrans District 10 encroachment <br /> permit. It is pertinent to the location of the sign that provisions for sufficient clear line of <br /> sight distance be provided for traffic entering onto State Route 12 from the Halloum <br /> property or other adjacent properties. <br /> San Joaquin County PP-96-1/Halloum <br /> Community Development Page 10 <br />
