Mitigation Measure <br />Implementation <br />Actions and <br />Timing <br />Implementation <br />Responsibility <br />Responsibility for Oversight <br />of Compliance/ Verification <br />Agency <br />Coordination <br />i <br />Comments <br />April 30. <br />• Limit vegetation clearing within 200 <br />feet of the banks of the Woodbridge <br />Irrigation District canal to the <br />minimum necessary. <br />• Where feasible, confine movement <br />of heavy equipment within 200 feet <br />of the banks of the Woodbridge <br />Irrigation District canal to existing <br />farm roads to minimize habitat <br />disturbance. <br />• Prior to ground disturbance, all <br />onsite construction personnel shall <br />be given instruction regarding the <br />presence of SJMSCP Covered <br />Species and the importance of <br />avoiding impacts to these species <br />and their habitats (Per Mitigation <br />Measure 4.6-1 a). <br />• Install temporary fencing at the edge <br />of the construction area and the <br />adjacent Woodbridge Irrigation <br />District canal southern bank (Per <br />Mitigation Measure 4.6-1b). <br />• Restrict working areas, spoils and <br />equipment storage and other project <br />activities to areas outside of the <br />proposed northern buffer area. <br />• Maintain water quality and limit <br />construction runoff into the irrigation <br />ditch through best -management - <br />practices (Per Mitigation Measure <br />4.6-1 e). <br />• A preconstruction survey for giant <br />garter snake shall occur prior to <br />construction activities and within 24 <br />hours of ground disturbance. <br />Section 1.0 Introduction 10 August 2022 <br />
