All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #1 Pool Gates <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The gate on the north part of the fence is not latching properly. Repair by today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br /> Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool area <br /> except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 31198) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br /> maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:3120B.1 General.All signs shall have clearly legible letters or numbers not less than 4 inches(102 mm) <br /> high, unless otherwise required in this section, affixed to a wall, pole, gate or similar permanent structure in a location visible <br /> to all pool users. <br /> 3120B.5 Artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation sign.An illustrated diagram with text at least 1/4 inch (6 mm) <br /> high of artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures shall be posted. <br /> Pool capacity. <br /> Hours of use. <br /> Diarrhea sign at the entrance area. <br /> keep gate closed on all entrance gates. <br /> street address of the pool facility with numbers and text not less than 1 inch (25mm)shall be posted. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. Disentangle by today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use.Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope.
