Stillage wastes from the old waste settling pond may have an effect on <br /> Nitrogen concentration in the soil . There may be other possible conta- <br /> minates associated with the ponds as well . The ponds are to be studied <br /> by a soil engineer to determine if any mitigating measures are needed <br /> prior to construction. <br /> 1. Nitrate-nitrogen (Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen and Nitrate) concentration. <br /> 2. Heavy metals associated with boiler waste <br /> 3. Total dissolved solids which may be a plant growth inhibitor. <br /> 2. Connection to public water and sewers. <br /> 3.
