The proposed easement
access would allow connection to an existing easement that connects to State Route 12
(SR-12) at 1453 West SR-12. The minor subdivision is approximately 1.0 mile north
from SR-12 and the casement accesses to SR-12 is approximately 0.5 mile east from the
SR-12/Peatland Road intersection.
• As indicated in the review response provided to the Community Development
Department on May 5, 2006, Department standards .require that access to a State
Route by more than 3 parcels seek improvements to road connection standards.
Approval of this Variance will allow access by at least 10 parcels according to the
Tentative Parcel Map provided.
"Caltrans improves mobility across California"
