• REFERRALS AND Staff will refer the application to any County deputr►iema,other agencies and surrounding <br /> ACTION property owners(for a map amerdrnent)affected by your proposal. At the end of a review <br /> and cornea period a staff report will be prepared and the PLrtning Commission will hold a <br /> public hearing. At the conclusion of the hearing the Ccasmission will eitlw refer the <br /> application to the Board of Supervisors will a favorable recommendation or deny the <br /> request The Board of Supervisors will thea hold a public hearing and talks foul action on <br /> your request (Note:Planning Commission denials must be appealed in order to be beard by <br /> the Board of Supervisors.) <br /> • FINAL ACTION The Board of Supervisaa'action is final. The staffwill send you a notification of the final <br /> action. <br /> STEP S PERMITS Additional applications and permits may be necessary for the actual establishmerrt of a use. <br /> The staff will make this detem enation when a specific use is proposed. <br /> • LAND USE PERMITS Subdivisions antd some specific lard uses will require permits,which may require an <br /> additional public hearing. <br /> • SANITATION& Projects that will utilize new on-site sanitation disposal and/or on-site wells,must get perarits <br /> WELL PERMITS fi-ortt the Environmental Health Division. <br /> • BUILDING PERMITS if the project involves construction,a building permit must be approved prior to <br /> commencement of worfc <br /> • BUSINESS LICENSES If the project involves a business,a Business Uoerrse must be approved prior to starting <br /> operation. <br /> • OTHER PERMITS Frequently other local,state,and/or federal agencies will require permits prior to new uses <br /> being established(e.g.,Air Quality,Regional Water Quality Control Board,Fish&(lame, <br /> Fish&Wildlife,or the Sheriff's ice).
